It's no new news to most of you that America just wittnessed the inauguration of Barack Obama this last Tuesday. There were so many things to write on, but I am not really a political person whatsoever, and I actually liked both candidates for this election, so the inauguration did not have the impact on me that it did for many others. However, there are some topics that did amuse me.

1) Inguguration expenses vs. plummeting economy. I can't recall exact figures at the moment, but while listening to one of the news channels I heard the ammount of money spent on this year's inauguration ceremony. WOW!!! No, officials could not have easily skimped on protection for the new first family, but there had to be some way that money could have been saved.

2) The new first family!!! Michelle Obama's dress at the ceremony and her dress later at the celebration were simply stunning. Malia and Sasha were both so very cute as well. It was lovely to see the first family walking together during part of the televised event. Both parents seem very dedicated to their children!
